Here we go again !!
Wow ... we are off to Newfoundland again!
We've been there several times and continue to go for several reasons, one of those being that the folks there are the friendliest, kindest, and most jovial collection of people on our planet. I have been told this numerous times, and when I first got there I instantly understood why everybody says that!
This trip is a little different as we are doing a house-swap with Arnie and Rita (Joanne's brother and his wife). They are coming Tuesday to stay at our place for about 2 weeks. On Wednesday they take us to the airport and we head to their house on The Rock, overlooking the ocean and watching the whales do what whales do.
And to make it really sweet, with a house-and-car swap and our decision to use some of the Air Miles collected over the years, this trip is gratis...free...no cost...nada... Gotta love that word 'FREE' ... Woo-hoo !!
We will be in Furby's Cove, a small remote hamlet, maybe 15 houses, about 40 minutes from a town called Harbour Breton, which is about half-way along the south shore.
So, stay tuned and keep checking in. This blog will come alive this Thursday !!
